Form Flows Like Water, Shelters Like Sky

The Flowing Canopy is a 44,000 sq.ft landmark hospitality project in Biharigarh, Uttarakhand — an architectural experience organized around the central metaphor of the canopy: a sheltering, flowing form that mediates between sky and earth. Designed for Mr. Sanjay Saini, the project is ambitious in scale and intimate in feeling.

The roof structure — its undulating form suggestive of a continuous landscape — defines every interior and exterior space, creating a sense of sheltered openness that is unique to this project. Materials are drawn from the region: local stone, hand-formed terracotta, and timber that ages gracefully under the Himalayan sun.
